While serving at church, Josh covered a large coffee order for the team—including Bria's drink. At the time, she was on her way to a college retreat when she got the notification and couldn't help but wonder if he was flirting.

Josh had noticed Bria years before and thought he'd missed his chance. When another opportunity came around, he took it. One date led to another, including a memorable rock-climbing adventure, and before long they were building something special together.

This Serenbe session took place just a few months before Josh would get down on one knee.

Spending time with these two made it easy to see why they work so well together. Bria brings a whimsical, joyful energy wherever she goes, while Josh is thoughtful, introspective, and quietly sarcastic in a way that keeps everyone laughing.

And of course, no session would be complete without a few tacos. One of my favorite parts of the evening was watching them laugh their way through an impromptu taco break. It wasn't planned, polished, or particularly glamorous—which is exactly why it felt so perfectly them. Those little in-between moments often end up being the most memorable, and seeing Josh and Bria simply enjoy each other's company over tacos felt like a glimpse into the everyday life they're building together.
